Jamia Sattaria Faiz-ur-Raheem is recognized as one of the oldest, most respected, and distinguished Islamic institutions in the Indian subcontinent. A God-fearing saint, eminent scholar, ascetic, Sufi master, and one of the foremost spiritual luminaries of his era, he was widely acknowledged for his piety and devotion. He was a Khalifah (spiritual successor) of Hazrat Maulana Abdul Qadir Raipuri (رحمه الله). People from all walks of life continuously sought his company for spiritual guidance and prayers. He was renowned as a Mustajab al-Da'wat—one whose supplications were accepted by Allah—and was also well known for his extraordinary spiritual insight (kashf) and miracles (karamat). By the blessings of his prayers, Allah guided countless individuals to the straight path, and even today he is remembered with deep reverence by a vast number of disciples and devotees throughout the region.The distinctive excellence of Jamia Sattaria extends far beyond the teaching of Islamic sciences. Its true hallmark lies in its unique integration of education (ta'lim), character-building (tarbiyah), and spiritual purification (tazkiyah). At present, the administrative leadership of the Jamia is entrusted to Hazrat Maulana Atiqur Rahman Nankawi, the grandson of Hazrat Shah Hafiz Abdul Sattar Nankawi (رحمه الله) and the Khalifah and designated successor of Hazrat Hafiz Jameel Nankawi.The blessed personality of Hazrat Shah Hafiz Abdul Sattar Nankawi (رحمه الله) remains the spiritual soul of this institution.
